San Fernando Valley Students Show Their "Smarts" in National Competition

Taft High School in Woodland Hills has won its third national championship at the 25 th annual U-S Academic Decathlon.
The win is the fourth championship won in six years by a high school in the San Fernando Valley.
High school teams from the San Fernando Valley have won nine championships.
El Camino Real located in Woodland Hills has won four, Taft three and two from Moorpark.
This is the thirteenth national win for California. (Written for broadcast)
