Free Brochures for Memory Loss

Those in the early stages of Alzheimer can choose between two free brochures that can assist them in planning for their future.
The brochures can also help them find resources accessible for them.
The brochures which were published by the Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association are available from the association as well as clinic’s and doctor’s offices.
The brochure titled “You Have Just Been Diagnosed With Memory Loss: You Are Not Alone,” directs patients to services and resources available from the Alzheimer’s Association.
The second brochure “Early Stage Memory Loss: Planning For the Future” include issues patients should deal with early on such as: legal and healthcare issues.
Some of these issues include selecting a trustee, looking at their healthcare benefits, and talking with an attorney versed in managing cases dealing with dementia.(Written for Broadcast)
